Vision:

Mission:
To mobilize and train the farmers and communities, the sustainable use of resources for improved livelihoods.
Aims & Objectives:
- To mobilize and train the rural communities / farmers in group dynamics and formation
- To train farmers in practices of sustainable agriculture
- To train and encourage rural farmers to form marketing associations and marketing their produces collectively in groups
- To protect the natural resources of the Rwenzori Mountains National Park (RMNP)
- To promote sustainable use of resources amongst the communities (like culture, sceneries, waterfalls) surrounding protected areas for Eco tourism activities
- To enhance networking amongst AMA promoters, NGOs and other stake holders
- To mobilize and train farmers / communities on health, hygiene and sanitation to encourage behavioral changes in communities leading to better health
- To promote the culture of co existence and peaceful conflict resolution among the farmers / communities
- To promote the culture of savings and credits and the uses of commercial banks
- To mobilize and train farmers / communities on the role of gender in development
- Build capacities of AMA to deliver development services to the farmers and other communities.
